Parents play a vital role in a student’s education, particularly during the formative years. When teachers and parents act as a team, it can reinforce positive behaviors and learning skills developed in the classroom and practiced at home. When students see educators and parental figures working together, they learn to value education and get academic and behavioral support both inside and outside the classroom. Parent-teacher teams that communicate well can share information about the student and help devise ways to individualize learning approaches to best meet the student’s needs.

Relatively parents play a very important role in the student's early days at school, year's more accurately, but between aiding their kids and doing their work for them there's a big difference, most parents these days are being incredibly naive, their sensibility toward their kids is becoming rather a troublesome when it comes to building their independence.
Parents are the kids' role models! They influence their kids so much. Knowing parents and meeting with them can help teachers know their students more, especially if they are young. Wish you all the best!
This is the day i dread most when I become a teacher. I'm sure I'll be shy and nervous to meet all the parents. But it's something that we must do since parents play a huge role in assisting us with their kid's learning. A day every couple of months isn't enough for us to build good relationships with them, we need to meet them more often. Our goals should be common to reach better outcomes in our students.
